Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho is unhappy with the manner he was rough handled by 31-year-old West Ham United defender Angelo Ogbonna, who incidentally is of Nigeria descent, in Wednesday’s Premier League match won 4-1 by the Foxes at King Power Stadium.
The 23-year-old, who replaced injured Jammie Vardy on 43 minutes and assisted Ayoze Perez for their fourth goal, has taken to social media to express his displeasure in a statement, referring to Ogbonna as “uncle”.
“Back to winning ways Uncle Ogbonna is it WWE,” stated the former Manchester City player, who is playing his third season with the Foxes following his € 27.7 million switch from the Premier League champions On August 2,2017.
Iheanacho has mustered just eight games with four starts this season, but an opportunity to belt more games has opened up with injury to Vardy, who could spent some time on the sidelines before staging a return.
The U17 World champion has made the most of the scanty opportunities available to him and has scored three league goals with an assist.
