It was a great for Nigeria stars in Belgium after Genk striker Paul Onuachu and Antwerp defender Junior Pius were selected in the Team of the Week.
Onuachu scored a brace for Genk to record a vital win over Mechelen, while central defender Pius also helped himself to two goals to rescue a point from home team Antwerp against KAS Eupen.
Both players were praised for their important contributions to their respective teams.
Onuachu, for one, has now netted four goals, but it appears his form came too late for the Super Eagles to hand him a recall after a rather forgettable 2019 AFCON outing.
Genk teammate Cyriel Dessers, who was conspicuously missing at the weekend, could make his Eagles debut next month in Austria.
