Refutal and Appeal to security agencies to save the lives and properties of concerned landlord owners at rumukpalukwuada community in ogbogoro, obio/apkor LGA
The international Human rights protection initiative was consulted by the concern landlords over the demolition of their properties, and on their behalf a press conference held.
The press statement was read and signed by Human Right Advocate, Comrade John Ihua, as regards the unlawful demolition of properties of some concerned landlords at Rumukpalukwuada community, Ogbogoro town, whose properties and lives are being threatened by some group of boys suspected to be cultists supposedly sent by one Chief Felix Amadi who has gone to the media to deny ordering/ aiding the boys
The press release by Human Right Advocate, Comrade John Ihua refute the denial of Chief Amadi over the action of the suspected cult boys, Comrade John Ihua also clarify that, the judgement given in favor of Chief Amadi over the dispute of the lands between him and his family.
According to the press statement read by Comrade John Ihua, there’s no where in the judgement empowering Chief Amadi to demolish the said landlord properties
The press release also revealed that more houses have been marked for demolition, it is on this premise, The Human Right Advocate Comrade John Ihua, call on the attention of the commissioner of police and other security agencies in the country to come to the rescue of the landlords whose lives and properties are being threatened by those who have made criminality their enterprise

During the press conference, the aggrieved landlord expressed their grievances to the press that, their properties which some of them had lived for over 10year were destroyed without any form of notice, according to some of the landlords, they woke up to seeing their fences and gates being brought down
The newsmen directed some questions to Human Right Advocate, Comrade John, asking, if the landlords are going to be part of the suit between Chief Amadi and his family upon appeal over the judgement given at the High Court.
Answering in the negative, Comrade John reinstated that the bone of contention is the unlawful act carried by Chief Amadi against the concerned landlords and not the decision of the judgement
The newsmen also asked whether the landlords will utilized the room for negotiation opened to them by the court, the Human Right Advocate answered, if the people’s lives should be threatened to negotiate, according to him, Chief Felix Amadi has foreclosed the procedure of the court and as resulted to Self Help which the Human Right Protection would not condole
