President Muhammadu Buhari has won the elections in Osun State over Atiku Abubakar by a slim margin.

Toyin Ogundipe, a professor and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos announced the results of the presidential election in Osun State.
The results show that Buhari beat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by a very close margin to win the state.
Buhari secured 347,674 votes while Mr Atiku got 337,377 votes, with the APC candidate leading with a margin of 10,297.
He won 18 of the 30 local governments in Osun state while Atiku won 12.
